EXPLORE THE CAMBRIAN MOUNTAINS BY...
The Cambrian Mountains are considered to be last great wilderness of Wales. It's lofty mountain tops and steep sided valleys make it a natural adventure playground to explore. It's also very quiet, meaning you can ride or hike all day without seeing another soul.
You can also travel from summit to sea in just over 30 mins, or a little more leisurely by bike or on foot. The Dyfi Bike Park and it's adrenaline fuelled trails are just 25 mins away, or go full enduro off piste in Dyfi Forest.
Bird watching at the nearby Osprey hide in Hafren is a must, watching them swoop and dive above the fishermen and sailor's on Llyn Clywedog.
When visiting The Lodge and mid Wales during the summer holidays, why not book yourself, family and friends for a water sports session at Llyn Clywedog.
Andy at Mavericks SUP (www.maverickssup.com) will coach and guide you on a tour around the reservoir, lots of laughs and banter guaranteed!!
Matt and his team at Brenin Adventures can take you on a fun filled day of activities including sailing, kayaking, canoeing, gorge walking, abseiling, team building and other adrenaline fuelled outdoor activities. Visit www.breninadventures.co.uk for more information.
On the other side of Hafren Forest is the Yamaha Off Road Experience, where Geraint, Rowan and Dylan can teach and guide you on a big day out around the forest and Cwm Elan.
